Adam Lanza Shooter At Sandy Hook Elementary School

Nothing could have prepared the parents and staff of Sandy Hook Elementary School for the events that happened this Friday when a masked and heavily armed Adam Lanza opened fire in the School premises and killed 20 children and 6 adults.

People are speechless and the relatives of the victims are mortified as the town of Newtown, Connecticut  was hit by the worst tragedy in its history. The uncomfortable feeling of panic and confusion made the air thick around the school after the shooting as parents rushed back to the school after hearing first news of the horrible incident.

Adam Lanza was identified as the shooter after faulty information was released saying that his brother Ryan Lanza was the killer.

Police reports say that Adam Lanza has been found dead from self-inflicted gunshot wounds, however nothing very certain at this time.

Adam Lanza who is 24 years old is believed to be the son of a teacher at the Sandy Hook Elementary School. Sources say his mother, Nancy Lanza is presumed dead, and his girlfriend and another one of his friends are missing.

As a response to the terrible tragedy, President Barack Obama gave a brief statement assuring that measures will be taken to prevent another Adam Lanza type incident like this from happening “regardless of the politics”.
