Alex Rodriguez To Join Team In Chicago

Alex Rodriguez went to the field amid cheers and a few boos as the Trenton Thunder played against the Reading Fightin' Phils. Majority of the fans showed support for the beleaguered New York Yankee player during the game even as he may be suspended by the Major League Baseball.

He walked four times in the game before exiting after seven innings. He told reporters that he felt great after playing back-to-back days. Numerous reports have emerged on a possible suspension for the player. He also commented after the game last Friday that people were conspiring against him.

However, he did not discuss the reports on a possible suspension by Saturday night. Alex Rodriguez indicated that he was in the field for over five hours and did not hear anything. He indicated that he is focusing on baseball and was excited in playing on Monday.

He has been on the disabled list for the season although he aims to be taken off the list. The player added that he also wants to help his team. Reports have also emerged on a possible buyout of his contract.

Alex Rodriguez is planning to fly to Chicago where a three-game series will be played by the Yankees against the Chicago White Sox. He did not give any indications that he will postpone his plan of joining the team if the suspension will be announced by MLB.

Although he did not appear to be affected by the controversy, he was more concerned about how his daughters will be affected. He said that he will have a long talk with his children and his ex-wife, Cynthia, about the situation if his daughters will ask him about it.

He did not answer whether he will reveal his full story to his daughters only or if it will be revealed in public. Alex Rodriguez is one of the players that may be suspended due to the Biogenesis case.
