Amanda Bynes Eager To Stay With Her Parents During The Holidays
The lawyer of the mother of Amanda Bynes revealed that the actress cannot wait to become reunited with her family. The actress is also planning to go to school sometime in the future.
Attorney Tamar Arminak revealed the actress was released recently from a treatment center after around four months in an involuntary psychiatric hold. The parents currently have custody of the actress.
The lawyer added that the actress goes through outpatient treatment a number of times each week. She is reportedly eager to stay home with the family over the holidays. Troubled 27-year-old is also happy to be able to re-establish a caring relationship with both her parents. She is also eager to attend school and probably study fashion design despite concentrating on her health for the moment.
The parents of the actress revealed in September that she was doing well in her road to recovery from her illness. Last month, an LA judge deemed Amanda Bynes mentally competent to face trial for a charge of drunk driving.
Last July, the actress was held for an evaluation of her mental health following a residential disturbance report. She was placed in a psychiatric facility.
During this time, the actress was facing a number of legal problems that included three misdemeanor charges and an alleged DUI charge. The misdemeanor charges were connected to an incident where a bong was supposedly tossed outside of her apartment in Manhattan.
Last September, the actress was moved into a private facility from the UCLA Medical Center for specialized treatment. This came after a recommendation from UCLA health care professionals, as revealed by the parents of Amanda Bynes.
