Amazon Fire TV Stick And Roku Streaming Stick Offered By Sling TV
A paid three-month subscription to Sling TV gives consumers the option to select from four streaming devices from Amazon and Roku. Consumers have the option to get the free Amazon Fire TV Stick or the Roku Streaming stick. They can also opt to get either the Amazon Fire TV box or Roku 3 at around 50% off its retail price.
While the promise of the company for a no-commitment-freedom-from-cable TV bundle, its latest offering requires a commitment from consumers while the devices are bundled with its service.
The website of the company indicated that customers can get the stock for free or a streaming box at around $50, which is essentially half its regular price.
However, it will be necessary for customer to get a three-month Sling TV service subscription. The basic price of the subscription is around $60. The deal will likely be appealing to consumers who have yet to own one of the devices. The Amazon offer features the option to get the free Fire TV stick or they can opt to purchase the Fire TV box at $50.
On the other hand, the offer from Roku is basically the same since consumers can choose between the free Roku Streaming Stick or the Roku 3 box at a price tag of $50. Some industry watchers may opt for the Roku 3, but there may be some instances when the response time is sluggish.
Although the Roku application was already available, Sling TV only launched its app for the Amazon Fire TV devices recently.
