American Idol Lauren Alaina Launches debut album

Nashville, Tenn. — 16 year old Lauren Alaina is growing up so quick. The American Idol season 10 first runner-up has been very busy for the past 4 months since the show has ended. Alaina has been performing throughout many countries as part of the Idol tour, appeared in several photo shoots, recorded several music videos, attended album launching and etc.

Just last week, Alaina has released her debut album, Wildflower. Alaina, a former cheerleader in high school, hopes her latest music album will solidify her entry in the music industry while believing she has to work really hard. The album recently released may either be a make or break situation for me, she said. People know me as they’ve seen me in the national television but they don’t really know me yet as an artist, Alaina said in an interview.

She believes that her debut album would be enough to showcase to all music fans all over the world the real Lauren Alaina. The album would exactly show the real me.  Keith Caulfield, associate director of Billboard charts, believes Alaina is on to a good start. Her first single is already in the top 40 of the billboard chart. Being in the idol is a great platform for her to become a successful singer and music icon, Caulfield said.
