During August of 2010, representatives from Rovio, the Helsinki, Finland based developer of Angry Birds to discuss a potential television show or a movie.
Now, there are rumors that a plush toy will hit stores in 2011.
This is part of the growing phenomenon of Smartphone games taking over traditional game system games as cultural phenomena.
The premise of the game is that players use a slingshot to
help defend the birds against angry pigs.
To date, the game has been downloaded by more than 6 million people around the World.
