Anne Hathaway Sees Humor In Wardrobe Fail
The New York premiere of Anne Hathaway’s latest movie “Les Miserable” offered everything people usually get at a premiere and more.
When stepping out of her limousine at the Ziegfeld Theater in New York, the actress' tightly fitted dress apparently had a slight defect that showed enough for everybody to see that Anne Hathaway was not wearing any underwear.
Although the situation was quite embarrassing, Anne Hathaway managed to keep her composure and accompanied her costars, actors Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe on the red carpet.
In an interview given to “Vanity Fair”, the actress blames the tightness of the dress for this uncomfortable situation and confessed she was quite affected by the incident but ultimately she took it in stride and tried to find the humor in it.
“And I just thought, ‘OK, where’s the comedy?’ It has hit. It has landed. A bomb has gone off. I think what I am going to do is whatever my next appearance is… I’m going to step out of the car in a blanket. You've got to laugh at it.” Anne Hathaway also expressed regret that in this day and age some people would “not do the decent thing” and delete such a unfortunate photograph but rather sell it for profit.
