Apple Store Goes Offline Prior To Preorders Of Latest Products

The online storefront of Apple went offline on Wednesday as the company prepared to process pre-orders for its latest devices, the iPhone SE and the iPad Pro 9.7. The situation is familiar to Apple fans each time a major product is released by the company.

Preorders will be accepted by the company on March 24 through its online store. The two latest Apple products will fill up store shelves by March 31, when the first preorders are expected to be fulfilled. The iPhone SE offers a four-inch display along with all the features of the iPhone 6S. It also features the latest version of the iOS software of Apple, iOS 9.3. The latest iOS version was released to all iPhones on Monday.

Customers will have a choice of a 16GB or 64GB version of the iPhone, which comes in four color options: gold, silver, rose gold and space gray. It will also be available in four major carriers in the US, namely AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon and Sprint. An unlocked or SIM-free will also be available.

Aside from the US, the iPhone SE of Apple will initially enter the markets in the United Kingdom, US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan, Germany, Hong Kong, France, China, Australia and Canada.

On the other hand, the iPad Pro 9.7 will feature the True Tone display, which makes dynamic adjustments on color temperatures basing on ambient light. It also comes with four speakers, Smart Keyboard connector s and Pencil support.

The device is basically a smaller version of the 13-inch iPad Pro. It offers a similar colorful display, which makes it better and less reflective compared to the iPad Air 2. It also provides a wide range of colors, which are more saturated compare to the Air 2 by 25 percent. The iPad Pro 9.7 is priced at $599.
