“Avengers: Age of Ultron” Set To Be Released In 2015

Following the box office success of “The Avengers” last year, a sequel will be released in 2015, and will be entitled “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” This was revealed by the Marvel Comics panel at the Comic-Con International that was held in San Diego recently.

Although the end of the first Avengers movie gave fans a glimpse of Thanos, the supervillain will appear in another movie set to be released next year, “Guardians of the Galaxy.” On the other hand, the sequel to the superhero movie will feature the genocidal robot.

Even as the excitement of fans starts to build up, Hank Pym, the creator of the robot may not be a part of “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” The brain waves of Hank Pym, also known as Ant-Man and Giant-Man, was used in creating the artificial intelligence that later became one of the foes of the Avengers.

Despite the significance of Pym in the creation of the robot, his appearance in the movie is unlikely.

According to “Avengers: Age of Ultron” director, Joss Whedon, it may not be necessary for Hank Pym to be featured on the movie. It is sensible since it is Marvel cinema and not Marvel comics. He said that Kevin Feige, head of Marvel Studios, knew the things to include and things to exclude in the movie. Whedon indicated that Pym was not necessary in creating the robot.

But, it does not mean that Hank Pym will not be featured on a Marvel movie. Reports have indicated that Edgar Wright will direct an “Ant-Man” movie in 2015. The movie will feature the capability of the superhero in shrinking down to the size of an ant. It will also show that he is not the creator of the killer-robot.

“Avengers: Age of Ultron” is scheduled to be released sometime in 2015.
