Barack Obama And Xi Jinping To Meet In California

United Stated President Barack Obama and his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping are scheduled to have their first meet in June, in California. This will be the first time the two heads of state meet, since Jinping was elected named president in March.

An official statement made by the White House, suggests that the agenda will contain talks about the way the Chinese-American relationship worked over the last four years and discussions about how to improve that relationship while taking note of the obvious differences.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry said that China is willing to improve relations with the United States and that 2013 proved to be a good year for doing that so far. He also added that the meet between the two heads of state is a perfect opportunity for continued development of these relations.

He didn't avoid the touchy subjects and said that differences exist between the two states and that those differences will require a well-planned management that involves both sides.

The U.S. will also bring up the sensible North Korea issue, urging China to persuade its neighbor and ally to cut back on the pro war rhetoric.

Other issues that will be brought up by Barack Obama are the cyber-espionage attacks on the American public and private sector, attacks that have been tracked back to China, and the way the small islands in the South China Sea are causing a tense atmosphere between China and United States alleys Japan and the Philippines.
