Brittany Murphy Could Have Been Poisoned

Brittany Murphy’s death may take a new twist with supposedly new evidence showing that a third party might have poisoned the actress and her husband. The 32 year old Murphy who was known for her roles in 8 Mile and Clueless died in 2009. Three days before her death, the actress had flu like symptoms. Just five months after the actress died, Simon Monjack, her husband also passed away.

The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office didn't report any fowl play in Murphy’s death and said her death was accidental, although it could have been prevented.

According to certain media outlets, Angelo Bertolotti, Murphy’s biologic father filed a law suit asking for more test to be done to determine the exact cause of death of his daughter. The suit was dismissed, however, Bertolotti sent blood, tissue and hair samples from the actress to the Carlson Company in Colorado.

Bertelotti suggests that the Colorado results have shown traces of “ten heavy metals” in abnormally high quantities. He added that the type of metals and toxins found are common in rat poison and pesticides. Although Chief Coroner Investigator Craig Harvey said he received no third lab test results that showed any type of metals or toxins in Brittany Murphy’s system, Bertolotti still suggests that someone might have poisoned his daughter.
