Celebrity Boxing Match To Feature DMX And George Zimmerman

Reports have indicated that George Zimmerman will join a celebrity boxing match against DMX in the coming month. Zimmerman was infamous for the shooting of Trayvon Martin. The rapper was selected by promoter Damon Feldman out of around 15,000 applicants who wanted to take up the open challenge of Zimmerman

The rapper said he will beat up Zimmerman and he will break all the rules of boxing. He added that he will also take a leak on the face of his opponent.

Jon Jones, light heavyweight champion of the UFC, also indicated through Twitter that he was interested in facing Zimmerman. However, he revealed he is set to go up against Glover Teixeira on April 26 in Baltimore. Zimmerman may not survive Jones and it remains to be seen how DMX can match up against him. Thirty-year-old Zimmerman has reportedly been training for the past few months and will be facing a 43-year-old rapper.

The time, date, and location are set to be announced on Wednesday and will have three rounds.

Last July, a jury in Florida acquitted Zimmerman of manslaughter and second-degree murder charges. The February 26, 2012 incident when Zimmerman shot seventeen-year-old Martin drew the interest of the entire country. However, he capitalized in the death of Martin and was called a celebrity, which was considered repulsive by many people.

Domenic Nati, publicist of the rapper, revealed that the match between the rapper and Zimmerman was not official yet. Although the rapper said he will beat up Zimmerman, no documents were signed yet. An official statement will be released by DMX once the agreement is finalized.
