While the music industry might not seem as opulent and glamorous as it once did, its stars can certainly earn more now, with millions upon millions of dollars rolling into the most popular singers' and actors' pockets last year.

One of the biggest earners and the best paid female performer of 2013 was Miley Cyrus whose bad-girl antics seem to be working. The young pop-star has apparently earned an estimated $76.5 million in 2013 allowing her to splurge all she wants on parties and her beloved marijuana.

The biggest earner when it comes to men in 2013 was Tyler Perry whose cross-dressing antics and lovable character earned him a whopping $78 million. Perry apparently spread out his media mogul plan and besides Medea he has earned money from movies, TV shows, stage plays and even books.

While nowhere near the top position Mathew McConaughey who had a fantastic year as far as awards go has also made a significant amount of money. The Academy Award winning actor earned $19 million last year even though his most praised performance in “Dallas Buyers Club” earned him just $200,000.

Sandra Bullock has also had an amazing year starring in the highly praised movie “Gravity.” Financially speaking 2013 was a good year for Bullock who earned an estimated $63 million.
