Chicago Bulls Lose Tuesday Night Game To The Miami Heat

The Chicago Bulls lost the first match of the season against the two time champions Miami Heat by a score of 107 to 95 at the American Airlines Arena in Miami this Tuesday night.

Before Tuesday night’s game, optimism was high in the Bulls camp as star player Derrick Rose was starting his first game in the last year and a half. Optimism was so high in fact both Rose as well as other key players said that the team in this form has a standing chance at winning the championship.

The praised Bulls lineup had Rose, Jimmy Butler, Luol Deng, Carlos Boozer and Joakim Noah who himself came back from a groin injury. The game was dominated by the Heat from start to finish showing the Chicago team that winning a championship will take more work than they thought at first.

Rose ended the night with just 12 points and five turnovers for the 34 minutes played. He said that his poor performance wasn't necessarily due to his absence from the court but rather he put it up to poor form. Poor form that Rose said will be forgotten in two days when the Bulls will play again.

Rose wasn't the only Bulls player that didn't seem to be too shocked with their performance. Luol Deng also said that while he is disappointed, the team’s goal is bigger than a single game.
