Chuck Palahniuk Is Working On A Sequel To Fight Club
This last week at Comic-Con, author Chuck Palahniuk revealed that he will soon begin work on a follow up to his hugely popular novel “Fight Club”.
Palahniuk was very active this past Thursday and Friday at the San Diego Comic-Con. The author talked to a lot of fans and signed some pre-released copies of his newest novel called “Doomed”. He also appeared on a panel called “Ode To Nerds” alongside writers from D.C. comics like Patrick Rothfuss, Cory Doctorow and Robyn Schneider among others.
While responding to fan questions, Palahniuk mentioned that his next project is bringing a follow up to “Fight Club” to life in the form of a graphic novel.
Regarding the graphic novel, the author said that he has been taking meetings with people from Marvel, DC and Dark Horse and learning a lot. He said that it will come out as more than one book and it will look at the what is happening 10 years after the action of “Fight Club”. It will be from Tyler Durden’s perspective and it will cover the way he reappears in Jack’s life after a decade of boring suburban life with Marla.
While no contract with a publisher has been signed, the new Chuck Palahniuk graphic novel should come out sometime before 2015.
