Controversial Decision at UFC 150

Frankie Edgar and Benson Henderson battled for the lightweight title in main event of UFC 150. Henderson won by a split decision, two cards have a score of 48-47 in favor of Henderson, while Edgar was favored in the third card with a score of 49-46.

Edgar was hard to pin down and difficult to catch for Henderson. Henderson had 89-92 edge landed strikes and scored well in the beginning of the fight. But as time goes on, Edgar became more in control of the game.

The split decision caused most viewers and critics to debate and caused the crowd to get angry. Even Yahoo! Sports card favored Edgar with a score of 49-46.

Henderson was very glad about the decision but he confessed that personally, he was not sure when the result showed that he would keep his belt. "Of course, you always have concern when it goes to the judges," said Henderson.

Edgar did not had the big shots he had in other of his fights but he was did not also had damage like in his previous battles. He obtained a cut around his eye and a bloody nose, but other than that, the fighter was clean.
