Daniel Radcliffe Admits being Drunk During some "Harry Potter" Scenes

The famous “Harry Potter” lead star Daniel Radcliffe admitted in a recent interview that he was drunk while filming some vital scenes for the "Harry Potter" movie series during a period in his life when he was drinking almost every night.

Radcliffe admitted to British celebrity news magazine Heat earlier this week that he had a drinking problem and that he was very adept at hiding it. He wouldn’t go into details but said that he drank every night.

The 22-year-old actor added that although he drank every night, he never drank at work on “Harry Potter.”  He went into work still drunk, but he never drank at work.

The young British actor became famous as young as 11-years-old after having chosen to play as the boy wizard Harry Potter in the movies based on J.K. Rowling's best-selling novels.  He openly discussed his "very busy personality" and also talked about his production-assistant girlfriend, whom he described as a wonderful, wonderful girl.

He further revealed that he can also be quite insecure at times and that he has a lot of self-doubt, though he received praises for his theater performances in the Broadway and West End productions "Equus" and "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying."

Daniel Radcliffe is currently on the promotional tour rounds for his film, "The Woman in Black," out in U.S. theaters on Friday.
