Did Simon Cowell broke Cheryl Cole’s heart?

Simon Cowell, reality TV judge, told his pals that Cheryl Cole will not speak to him again, following her very public departure from the US version of The X Factor, and replacement of Pussy Cat Doll, Nicole Scherzinger

Cheryl is ignoring all of Simon’s calls and texts and refused to rejoin the British X Factor panel after her US dreams ended, despite Simon offering her a whopping Dh17 million per season (Dh8 million more than she earned for last year's show).

“He was saying, ‘She’s had it with me. I’ve hurt her and she won’t forgive me for this’,” a source close to the mogul revealed. Adding, “Simon feels guilty as hell about what has happened to Cheryl, he has admitted it was a cock-up, but she won't hear him out.”

Simon was the one who begged for Cheryl to join him in the US, as they shared a very close relationship; with insiders saying that he had a soft spot for her.

“They used to be so close,” said our insider. “She’d text him round the clock for advice. Now she can't bring herself to speak to him. He feels like he's lost a lover.”

Simon made his first public appearance on Monday for the semi-final of UK TV show Britain’s Got Talent, but Cole, didn’t watch the show and pals said she spent her time searching for holidays on the internet, as she wants to escape Britain until the humiliation of her sacking has blown over.

”Cheryl had no intention of watching Simon’s big night. It was the last thing she would be interested in. She still feels badly let down and seeing his face will make her more upset,” the source said. “Cheryl spent most of the evening checking out possible holiday destinations. She can’t wait to get as far away as possible from all this attention.”
