Steven Moffat, a TV producer and writer, will reportedly have a free hand in developing the script for an upcoming special episode of the Doctor Who episode, according to a source knowledgeable about the show.

The filming of the show will start in two weeks time and it may be in 3D. Moffat has been given a free hand in the development of the episode and it remains uncertain how long it could be.

The upcoming Doctor Who TV movie will mark the fiftieth anniversary of the show, and it will be the best part of the celebration.

Anticipation for the episode was built up by Matt Smith, the lead actor of the show, during a question-and-answer meeting prior to the airing of the current season. Smith said that he read the script and he applauded at the end. He added that fans will not be disappointed and the script will make this year the exciting.

The newest season of the show shows the Doctor looking for Clara Oswald. They will go up against monsters from another planet as well as an enhanced army of Cybermen.

Anticipation for the chemistry between Jenna-Louise Coleman, who will play the role of Clara, and Smith has increased among critics. Coleman revealed that she was excited to work on the Doctor Who show after her audition.
