Edward Snowden Acknowledge Plan To Access Data Through The Contractor

Edward Snowden reportedly revealed that he took the job at Booz Allen Hamilton to access confidential information in an interview with the South China Morning Post.

He said that his position at the contractor gave him access to the list of machines that were hacked by the NSA. This was the reason why he assumed the post around three months ago. Snowden left Hong Kong last Sunday and is reportedly asking for asylum in Ecuador.

His exact location is currently unknown although he was supposed to go to Cuba from Russia. However, his seat on the Aeroflot plane was empty.

The interview indicated that Edward Snowden will continue to reveal his findings to media around the world. He will make the information available once he goes through it. He wants them to have an impartial evaluation on the information. He wanted them to make the decision on whether to publish the information about the network operations of the US against its own people or not.

The admission of the former contractor were revealed as he was about to leave Hong Kong. Snowden reportedly planned to leave Hong Kong inside the home of a local supporter.

A local lawmaker and pro-democracy advocate, Albert ho, revealed the plan that was finalized over dinner. He indicated that the former contractor thought that what he did was right. Ho added that Snowden was not spying for anyone.

The decision of leaving Hong Kong was finalized after Edward Snowden learned that the Hong Kong government cannot give its assurance that he would not be arrested while waiting for his trial.
