Ellen Pompeo Welcomes Second Child

Ellen Pompeo of “Grey’s Anatomy” fame just gave birth to her second child, a beautiful baby girl. Pompeo went a different direction than most celebrities keeping news of the new baby a complete secret and only announcing it during her Thursday night interview on Jimmy Kimmel, a whole two months after the actual birth happened.

Her and husband Chris Ivery have been together for seven years and had one child called Stella Luna. During the interview the star also announced the name of her new daughter is Sienna May, giving details about why she kept the entire thing a secret.

Pompeo said that the privacy of their surrogate mother might have been destroyed had they announced they are planning for a second child. This isn’t the first privacy stunt the star has pulled as she managed to keep her and her husband’s marriage a complete secrete for five days before the press got the story that Michael Bloomberg, the Mayor of New York actually performed the act.

Pompeo also said that she and the surrogate developed an extremely close relationship, adding that she was present for the entire process, from her insemination to the birth of their beautiful baby girl.

The “Grey’s Anatomy” actress confirmed her daughter’s birthday and declared her undying love in a series of Twitter message that followed her late night appearance.
