Family And Friends React To Peaches Geldof’s Death

The 25-year-old Peaches Geldof, daughter of legendary musician Bob Geldof and Paula Yates has passed away at her home in Kent, England. The cause of death is not clear yet with an official post-mortem report due out Wednesday according to Kent City Council.

Local police declared the death of Ms Geldof as “non-suspicious” however they also added “unexplained and sudden.” According to police Ms Geldof’s body was discovered yesterday at her home, after a call requesting their presence was made at 1:35pm.

According to a local councilman Geldof’s body was transported to the Valley Hospital in Dartford where the post-mortem results are scheduled to be released tomorrow. After the post-mortem, police will determine if further investigation in the case is needed.

Peaches Geldof was known as an avid user of social media platforms, particularly Twitter. Her last Twitter post was a picture of her and her deceased mother. It was posted Sunday morning less than 24 hours before her death.

Geldof was the second of the three daughter’s musician Bob Geldof had with Paula Yates. Her death left all her friends and relatives stunned and saddened. Bob Geldof released a statement this Tuesday saying that he is beyond pain, and adding that Peaches was the “wildest, funniest, cleverest and wittiest” person he ever knew.
