“Fast & Furious 7“ Release Date Announced By Vin Diesel
The release date of “Fast & Furious 7” was revealed recently by Vin Diesel.
Diesel said the latest installment of the movie franchise will hit the big screen on April 10, 2015. He made the announcement through his Facebook page recently. He also posted a photo of himself and the late Paul Walker.
Diesel wrote that it was the last scene he filmed with his late co-star and it gave them an irreplaceable sense of completion and pride that the two of them shared. He added that it captured the magic in the movie they were about to complete and showed how far they have reached.
The post of Diesel wrapped up with an acknowledgement of Walker as he wrote that Walker would want the fans to know first. The release date of “Fast & Furious 7” was confirmed by Universal Pictures.
The untimely death of Walker caused some uncertainty in the movie. Walker died in a car crash last November 30 together with Roger Rodas, a friend of Walker. The movie was under production when Walker died and more than sixty percent of it was already shot.
Universal Pictures indicated it was shutting down production of the movie after the death of Walker. The shutdown would allow the company to provide support for the immediate family of Walker and the extended family of the cast, crew and moviemakers of the movie franchise.
The studio added it will assess available options in order to move forward with the movie franchise.
No additional details were released in connection to the future of the production of “Fast & Furious 7” after the death of Walker.
