Garth Brooks Tour Announced

Following the cancellation of five “Comeback Special” concerts that were supposed to be held in Dublin, Ireland, the details of an upcoming Garth Brooks tour was announced by the country superstar recently.

Although the start of the world tour was announced by Brooks, the other dates of the tour were not revealed. The tour is set to start in Chicago on September 4. The star stopped touring on 2001 to dedicate his time to his three daughters. Trisha Yearwood, wife of Brooks, will join the tour.

Tickets for the upcoming Garth Brooks tour are at $65.50 and will become available by July 25.

Brooks revealed that he normally gets questions about the best cities that he likes to play in as an entertainer. He said he normally gives out the names of five or six cities that he likes, and Chicago is always on the list. He added that Chicago is the most ideal city to start his world tour.

Tickets for the concert can be purchased through Ticketmaster, which will impose a limit of six tickets for each patron. There will be a single price for all the tickets at the venues, which is what the country superstar used to practice before he went on his hiatus. He believes that all his fans should be treated equally.

He revealed during a recent news conference that no silver, gold or VIP tickets will be sold during the tour, which was also true for his four-year stint at Las Vegas’ Wynn Encore Theatre.

The Allstate Arena will be the first stop of the new world tour of Brooks. The concert will be the first time the country superstar will perform in the Chicago area in the last seventeen years. The upcoming Garth Brooks tour will be different from the concerts that were supposed to be held in Dublin.
