Glee’s Cory Monteith Enters Rehab

Cory Monteith, one of the very talented stars of the cult show Glee has apparently signed into a rehabilitation facility where he will receive treatment and counseling for an unspecified substance addiction.

Cory’s publicist also said that the star is asking the media for their respect and privacy as he tries to make all the necessary steps toward recovery.

The same statement noted the Monteith signed himself into the rehabilitation center and that it was his own decision to do so. It also said that it was a substance addiction but it failed to precisely mention what kind of substance the star was dealing with.

Monteith was born in Canada and became a regular on “Glee” in 2009 as Finn Hudson, a jock that could also sing a tune. He will not star in the final episodes of the show however that will air later this season.

Lea Michele, his “Glee” co-star and girlfriend said through a statement that she loves and supports Cory and that she will be by his side through his recovery. She also said the she is proud of his decision and will power to get better.

Cory Monteith has always talked about the drug problems he faced as a teenager, problems that lead him to enter a treatment facility at the age of 19.
