Google Release Chromebook Pixel A New Touch Laptop
Google released their new Chromebook Pixel, a beautiful sleek laptop that has a touch screen incorporated. The laptop is designed to be a tough cloud based competitor for Apple products.
The touchscreen laptop has the highest resolution on the market, Google representatives said while it was unveiled.
They were confident that touch technology is here and will be the future when it comes to tech. The aluminum encased laptop quite resembles Apple’s Mac products as far as looks go but comes with some improvements.
The Pixel will provide 1 terabyte of storage in the cloud as it targets a new generation of users that spend a lot of time on social media sites and sites like Amazon or Google.
Google’s Pixel screen has a higher resolution than Apple’s 2560 by 1600 and costs $1299 for the 32 GB WiFi version that will begin shipping next week while the 64 GB 4G LTE version will go for $1449 and will begin shipping in April.
The laptop will come with an Intel Core i5 , a dual core processor and 4 GB RAM memory. It will be just under half of an inch thick while its display will be 12.5 inches. The glass used for the Chromebook Pixel is Gorilla Glass and the same product used in iPhone displays.
