Gossip Girl Finale Watched By Around 1.5 Million Viewers

The series finale of “Gossip Girl” had around 1.5 million people glued to their seats waiting for CW to finally reveal who the “Gossip Girl” blogger was. It was Dan, who is also known as the Lonely Boy.

Aside from being the most-watcher episode of the show since April 2011, it was also the highest rated episode among the 18 to 34 year old female target audience since February 2011. However, it had less than half of the number of viewers for the second season of the show, which reached 3.7 million viewers.

The ratings of the “Gossip Girl” finale remain uncertain since it is among the most recorded shows of CW. The audience of “Gossip Girl” for this season had the tendency to increase by fifty percent if the people who watch the show around seven days after it was broadcast are included. Around 66 percent of the audience is in the targeted female age bracket.

Dan is an outsider in the Upper East Side society of Serena, the woman he is in love with. In order to fit it, Dan started the Gossip Girl blog in order to bring out into the open the bad side of the friends of Serena aside from his own. After the initial reaction to the “Gossip Girl” revelation, the Upper East Side denizens laughed about the entire situation and continued on with their lives.
