The games studio indicated that the GTA 5 release date will be on September 17 for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. Die-hard fans of the game will likely be frustrated with the GTA 5 release date since it was moved back from the initial expected release schedule in the spring of 2013.

Rockstar indicated that the GTA 5 release date on September 17 was made to allow more development time since it is the largest playing environment that it created. The game is expected to be impressive if the GTA 4 is taken into consideration.
