Heidi Klum Becomes Latest “America’s Got Talent” Judge

Supermodel Heidi Klum revealed recently that she will become a judge at “America’s Got Talent”, a popular TV talent search show. She will become the fourth judge of the show that was created by Simon Cowell. The other judges of the talent show are former Spice Girl Mel B, Howard Stern, and Howie Mandel. Nick Cannon hosts the show.

Klum revealed her becoming a new judge in a recent tweet.

The supermodel will reportedly add a discriminating taste to the jury, according to NBC. Paul Telegdy, the alternative programming president of NBC, revealed that the contestants will be able to take advantage of the international sensibility of Heidi Klum as well as an awareness of the way the global entertainment industry works today.

The broadcaster indicated that Mel B will replace Sharon Osbourne, who resigned from the show after the network dropped her son from another show.

The nationwide auditions that will start in New Orleans will bring the four judges together. The show offers a $1 million prize to the best talent, be it a dancer, singer, magician or any other performer. NBC is hoping that the number of viewers of the show will increase with the addition of Mel B and Heidi Klum. The number of viewers of the show’s finale dropped to less than eleven million, which is a record low for the show.

Heidi Klum also hosts “Project Runway, which is a fashion-design show under Bravo, which is a part of NBC Universal.
