Heidi Klum Wins At Halloween
While most models usually try to use Halloween as a pretext to parade their youth and beauty in something they would almost never wear, German model Heidi Klum chose to go in another direction and paraded different attributes.
A walking stick and wrinkles seemed to be the main features of Klum’s costume as the model appeared dressed up as a geriatric version of herself. Klum has sort of a reputation when it comes to throwing Halloween parties and dressing up for them.
Last night’s party marked the 14th edition of the Klum parties, an event that was held at the Marquee nightclub in New York. Klum’s secret weapon was make-up artists Bill Corso and Mike Marino who constructed the jaw dropping make-up turning the 40 year old beauty into an 80 year old.
Among a bald cap and wrinkles, Klum had some varicose veins, hunched spine and other prosthetics added to make her look the part. The two make-up artists are celebrities in their own right, one wining the Oscar for “Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunable Events” while the other won the 2009 Emmy for “Grey Gardens”.
Heidi Klum said that her Halloween success is no coincidence as she picks her costume months ahead of the party and preparation for just as long.
