Hillary Clinton Released From New York Hospital
Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, was discharged from a New York hospital this Wednesday. This comes just three days after a blood clot was found in her head.
Clinton appeared to be making progress and her doctors advised her she would continue to make progress and make a full recovery.
Hillary Clinton’s doctors have been treating her with blood thinners in an attempt to dissolve the blood clot that formed in a vein that runs somewhere between the brain and the skull, behind the right ear, said Philippe Reines.
He also added that the Secretary of State can’t wait to get back to work and that she was very grateful to the doctors at New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
The exact date of her return will be established in the next couple of days, Dr. Reines added. Hillary Clinton was admitted to NY Presbyterian last Sunday when an MRI test showed that she had a blood clot in her head.
The possible reason for the blood clot could be an injury she suffered when she fainted at her home, while down with a stomach virus.
Staff at the hospital said Hillary Clinton was quite active during her stay and that she reviewed a lot of paperwork and also talked with the Prime Minister of Qatar about the situation in Syria, Afghanistan and Palestine.
