Holidays Are Truly Happy For The Bulls After Nets Win
The Chicago Bulls managed to beat the Brooklyn Nets this Wednesday by a score of 95 to 78. With Taj Gibson scoring 20 points and Jimmy Butler 15, the Chicago team gave themselves a Christmas present and ended the Holiday season with a win against the Nets.
After trailing 50 to 49 at the debut of the third quarter, the Bulls, led by Butler managed to take control of the match and with a 21-5 run managed to turn the game in their favor.
Butler started the comeback with a three pointer followed up by a three point play making the score 57-52. This was just the beginning of an electrifying 12 consecutive points. The run was ended by a 3 point play ran by the same Butler, who missed the last game due to an ankle injury.
The period was ended by a 19 point gap between the teams. The match progressed just about the same in the fourth quarter with Brooklyn fans losing faith and booing their home team.
This is the second victory in a row for the Bulls, a first since their 5 win run in November. It can actually be the beginning of a long run after both Butler and guard Kirk Hinrich returned from their injuries and even started in Wednesday’s night game.
