House Of Cards New Season Premieres This Friday
The second season of the intense Netflix political drama “House of Cards” will be released this Friday. Like in the case of Season 1, all episodes will be released at once, much to the delight of the series’ fans.
The series main character, politician Frank Underwood played by Kevin Spacey and his equally mischievous wife Claire played by Robin Wright will return with a new set of challenges that stand between them and their goal of reaching the upper echelons of world politics.
Kevin Spacey spoke about his character in a recent interview saying that while he can’t divulge anything about the new season, Underwood will have the same determination to scheme his way to the tops of U.S. politics. He also added that with his increased power, his appetite for Machiavellian tactics will also grow.
Spacey also added that fans of the show should expect more intrigue and unexpected surprises right off the bat and even a bit of dark humor.
But unexpected plot twists aren't the only new things that viewers can expects, as new characters will also be making their debut. Like Jacqueline Sharp, played by Deadwood’s Molly Parker.
Parker didn't give much away about her new character, only that she believes every character on the show is ambitious; however, few are as ruthless as misses Sharp.
