Not exactly breaking news broke out that pop diva Janet Jackson married long time boyfriend Wissam Al Mana.

The news is not exactly groundbreaking as the wedding seems to have happened about a year ago, with zero press coverage.

When asked about their wedding the couple said rumors that they had an opulent, extravagant wedding were fabrications, and that the ceremony was small, private and beautiful.

Janet wouldn't mention what she meant by last year, as in December 2012 or January 2012, however, the pop diva and her extremely wealthy Qatari billionaire husband seemed very happy together.

While magazines like Us Weekly or New York Daily News reported back in December that the couple was engaged and that they were planning a larger than life wedding in spring, no one had imagined that the couple took things so fast.

United Arab Emirates papers also speculated on their upcoming wedding saying that Jackson would convert to Islam before their wedding that would take place this spring.

They also said that as wedding gifts they exchanged donations to their favorite charities, focusing mainly on children’s charities.

Al Mana and Janet Jackson were last seen at the Milan fashion week this Monday specifically at a Georgia Armani Show.
