Jay Z And Sister-In-Law Solange Get Into Elevator Fight
A video of Solange Knowles, Beyonce’s little sister, punching, hitting and scratching Jay Z while in a Manhattan elevator is flooding the internet . The 27-year-old attacked the rap superstar while leaving a Met Gala held at the Standard Hotel.
The incident was filmed on the elevator’s surveillance camera, with the footage leaking and being posted this Monday by TMZ. In the video, Beyonce’s little sister, a singer herself appeared to yell and then attack Jay Z. While Beyonce seemed concerned she did not intervene allowing a bodyguard to quickly pull Solange off the rapper.
The audio-less video created a huge uproar online, with fans trying to guess what the three entertainers were saying in the elevator or what the rapper said to upset his-sister in-law. Some fans made fun of Solange tweeting that this was the first hit she has had in years while others chose to mock Jay Z photo shopping a black eye on the rapper.
Solange’s Wikipedia page was also updated with “kicker, streetfighter, Jay Z’s 100th problem” being added. Even a poster for Beyonce’s soon to come concert “On the Run” was modified and read “On the Run from Solange.”
According to some sources, Solange was upset even before the elevator ride, as she was seen yelling at designer Rachel Roy just before her sister intervened and pulled her aside.
