JR Smith Picks Up Flagrant Foul In Game 2 Of The NBA Finals
JR Smith of the Cleveland Cavaliers picked up a flagrant-1 foul after he ran through a screen set up by Draymond Green. The foul was called during the first quarter of Game 5 of the NBA Finals.
Hard contact between the Cavaliers guard and the Warriors forward caused Green to fall on his back. Due to this, the referees had to stop the game and check the monitor to see if the contact merited a flagrant foul. In the end, the referees called a flagrant-1 foul on Smith.
This will make it will be necessary for Smith to be more careful in the upcoming games since another flagrant foul during the playoffs will result to his suspension. The mother of Green also tweeted her response to the play.
JR Smith now has 3 flagrant foul points in the playoffs. One more flagrant foul of any sort and he would be suspended.

Draymond Green only made one of the two free throws awarded to him after the flagrant foul of JR Smith.
