June Shannon, Honey Boo Boo's Mom Is Getting Married

If you thought you had heard the last of Honey Boo Boo and her very loud family then think again as Honey Boo Boo’s mom, June Shannon is getting married to Mike “Suger Bear” Thompson.

“Mama” June and “Sugar Bear” Thompson met nearly a decade ago on the internet, and now have made the decision to take their relationship to the next level and get married. The reason behind their somewhat sudden marriage seemed to be the welfare of their daughters as they should have a positive image of marriage and a couples.

The event that saw the tying of the knot between the “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” couple was one characteristic to the Georgian South.

The dresses worn during the wedding were either bright pink and orange or the classic white trash camo.

Alana “Honey Boo Boo” was the flower girl being the only child the happy couple had together. June Shannon’s other girls from previous relationships “Chickadee”, “Pumpkin” and “Chubbs” were also present at the wedding, but the star and most outrageously dressed person invited remained Alana.

The bride said that a wedding on a budget is quite possible as her sister made the cake leaving the biggest part of the budget to be spent on the barbecue.

June Shannon also added that the focus of the wedding was on her commitment to “Sugar Bear” and on setting a good example for her girls.
