Kate Upton, Second Year On “Sports Illustrated” Cover

Kate Upton, the voluptuous 20 year old that became famous after appearing on the 2012 edition of the magazine is reported to be the favorite to get the cover spot for the 2013 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition too, making it the second year in a row.

The news was supposed to be kept a secret until the big reveal on the “Late Show with David Letterman” on Monday the 11th of February.

The photo was leaked and online celebrity magazine TMZ published the photo that was supposed to grace the “Sports Illustrated” swimsuit issue.

The photo showed Upton wearing a small bikini with just a white winter jacket, in an Antarctic setting.

After the TMZ announcement, Sports Illustrated confirmed the news report and released a picture of the now infamous cover on their Twitter account.

2013 is the second year when the fabulous Kate Upton will appear on the cover of the annual swimsuit edition of the popular magazine.

Other famous models that have graced the cover of Sports Illustrated include Heidi Klum, Cheryl Tiegs, Kathy Ireland, Chrtistie Brinkley, Elle Macpherson and Tyra Banks.

The 20 year old Kate Upton was also spotted at the Mercedes-Benz Laureus Event held at The Wedding Cake House on the 2nd of February.
