Katt Williams And Suge Knight Face Robbery Charges

Katt Williams and Suge Knight are facing robbery charges following their recent arrest after they reportedly stole the camera of a celebrity photographer around a month ago. Williams and Knight were arrested last Wednesday, according to prosecutors.

Knight is also facing a charge for assault using a deadly weapon. He may be imprisoned for thirty years if he is convicted. Knight is also the founders of Death Row Records. The two men were accused of stealing the camera of a paparazzo in Beverly Hills last September 5. The Beverly Hills police did not release any statements on the incident, which is currently under investigation.

Katt Williams was arrested when he attended an arraignment for a separate assault case. He was arrested at a courthouse in the Los Angeles area. The comedian will face a seven-year prison term if he is convicted. On the other hand, the 49-year-old Knight was arrested in Las Vegas. He did not resist arrest when police took him into custody.

The lawyer representing Knight, Anthony Brooklier, did not release any statements in connection to the arrest. The agent of Williams, Chris Smith, did not comment on the arrest as well.

Around one week and a half prior to the incident involving the photographer, Knight was wounded in a shooting in West Hollywood, California. He established Death Row Record in the 1990s. The label is one of the leading labels for rap artists before it declared bankruptcy and was auctioned off.

The 43-year-old Williams appeared in a number of movies, like “Friday After Next” and “First Sunday.” Katt Williams also starred in numerous comedy specials.
