Kelly Clarkson Performs At The Country Countdown Awards

Kelly Clarkson performed at the American Country Countdown Awards with a number of other country music stars. The event drew country music fans in Nashville Tennessee.

One of the highlights of the inaugural event was a tribute by Kelly for Reba McEntire, her stepmother-in-law. Carrie Underwood also wowed the crowd with her electric blue gown. Carrie performed a medley that included “Blown Away” and “Before He Cheats.”

The crowd was also impressed by the performance of Miranda Lambert and Kelly. The two country music stars gave their rendition of the greatest hits of Reba.

Reba beamed at the performance of the two stars. Aside from the award of McEntire, Miranda Lambert also received the Female Vocalist of the Year award. Jason Aldean copped the Artist of the Year award while the Male Vocalist of the Year went to Luke Bryan. McEntire was delighted that Kelly Clarkson married her son. She also shared pictures of her granddaughter with Katie Couric.

Carrie was also getting herself prepared for motherhood. While she stopped her vegan lifestyle for the moment, she said she is planning to return to it following the pregnancy. Just as Carrie expressed her excitement about her upcoming baby boy, she also indicated that she is hoping for a girl the next time.

Kelly was also proud of her daughter as she showed own pictures of her during one of her tours. She also posted that she was hanging out at the backstage with River before her Oklahoma show. Kelly Clarkson also accompanied her baby who attended a country music concert featuring Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks.
