The wedding of Kerry Washington and Nnamdi Asomugha was kept a secret by the 36-year-old actress in the same way secrets are kept by the character she plays on Scandal. The star, who plays Olivia Pope on Scandal, married the cornerback for the Francisco 49ers last June. Another secret is also about to be revealed. Reports indicated that the star of Scandal is already four months pregnant with the first child of the couple.

A source close to the couple revealed that a baby was on the way. The Emmy-nominated actress has kept all signs of a baby bump under roomy dresses.

The Kerry Washington and Nnamdi Asomugha started seeing each other in 2012 and got married in Hailey, Idaho on June 24. The child will be the first for the actress, who was previously engaged to David Moscow.

The star revealed during an interview last September that experience taught her that discussing her personal life will not work for her. She made the revelation when she was asked about the clandestine wedding she had with the NFL star.

The actress revealed that earlier in her career, she talked about her personal life. However, she could not simply talk about the good things that happened and leave out the bad things. Then she decided not to talk about her life anymore.

She indicated that she was not trying to fool anyone since she wears her ring when she goes out in public. Whenever people congratulate her, she thanks them. However, Kerry Washington will not talk about her life anymore and will simply let it come out.
