Kim Kardashian And Kanye West Cause Flight Delay

Although celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West may benefit from preferential treatment in retail outlets, sporting events, and restaurants, they will not receive the same thing in an airport security line. This was evident when the two celebrities were set to board a flight on Tuesday to Los Angeles.

The celebrity couple circumvented standard security screening at the airport during a layover at New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport. They were supposedly escorted by an employee of an airline into a non-public area after they received customs and baggage clearance. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were on their way to a connecting flight that would bring them to Los Angeles.

But security procedures indicate that all passengers are supposed to pass through the checkpoint of the Transportation Security Administration at the airport.

After officials at the TSA knew about what happened, the celebrities were asked to disembark from the aircraft. They were also requested to go through a private security screening. This resulted to a fifty minutes delay in the flight as all the other passengers had to wait for the couple.

An investigation was being conducted by the TSA on the incident as well as the employee of the airline who allowed Kim Kardashian and Kanye West to skip standard security procedures.
