Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries Tie Knot

Los Angeles — Kim Kardashian, reality show star, and Kris Humphries, basketball player, decided to get married Saturday after a whirlwind romance and courtship. Kim Kardashian, 30 years old, is one of the highest paid reality show stars earning $6 million last year. Kris Humphries, 26 years old, is a professional basketball player from the New Jersey Nets.

The wedding ceremony took place in a private estate in the town of Montecito in a hill in Southern California. The exclusive right to cover the wedding was given to People Magazine after securing a bid to the sought-after wedding of Humphries and Kardashian. The special wedding TV coverage was filmed in two parts to be aired on E! Channel this coming October.

Humphries and Kardashian started dating since late 2000. Kris Humphries proposed to Kim Kardashian last May of this year with a lavish 20.5 karat sparkling diamond ring. Kardashian stars in the famous reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians with her mom and 3 sisters. 444 guests witnessed the wedding rite attended by Eva Longoria of the Desperate Housewives and Lindsay Lohan.

The media has religiously followed the wedding preparations up to the actual wedding ceremony. The bridal gown worn by the lovely Kim Kardashian was designed by no less than the renowned Vera Wang. The inspiration of the wedding cake was the same as the Royal Couple’s, Britain’s William and Kate, last April.
