Kim Kardashian Files for Divorce after 10 weeks
Los Angeles — Kim Kardashian, reality starlet, announced she will cancel her marriage to Kris Humphries, NBA player, 10 weeks after their lavish wedding ceremony which was aired and followed by the media. Kim Kardashian filed for divorce Monday. The reason for the divorce is irreconcilable differences, she said.
It was not an easy decision, Karsdashian added. The reality starlet hoped their marriage would have lasted forever but there are things that really don’t work out as planned. In a separate press interview, Humphries was devastated when he learned his wife had filed for divorce without his idea. He is all willing to do anything just to work things out.
Kardashian filed the divorce at the Los Angeles County Superior Court but only a few details was given including the pre-nuptial agreement between the couple on how to divide their assets. Humphries, 26 years old, and Kardashian, 31 years old, were married in a star studded and exclusive California estate last August 20.
It was Humphries first marriage. Humphries is an NBA player from the New Jersey Nets. On the other hand, it was Kardashian’s second marriage. She was formerly married to Damon Thomas, music producer, from 2000-2004. Humphries and Kardashian started dating last year and had announced their engagement last May.
