Kim Kardashian Talks About Wedding with Kanye West
Looks like Kim Kardashian learned her lesson already. After her extravagant, televised wedding with Kris Huphries didn’t end up in a happy ever after, the famous reality star may be more cautious now more than ever for her next wedding ceremony.
According to the November issue of Tatler, one of England’s premier magazines, Kardashian was quoted saying, “It had always been my dream to have a big wedding, and when people said that I’d made it over the top for the [‘Keeping Up with The Kardashians’], that was just me – I am over the top…” She added, “But the next time, I want to do it on an island with just my friends and family and that’s it.”
In her appearance in the magazine, the 31-year-old stunning beauty wore a white wedding gown-like dress. She also gave comments about rumors that her highly-popular wedding ceremony with the basketball star, Kris Humphries, was staged so Keeping up with the Kardashians would reap higher ratings. Their marriage ended after two and a half months.
She defended herself, “That is just not the person I am. Who would honestly get married for ratings? It’s not like the ratings had dropped and we needed a boost…” She continued, “Never mind other people’s emotions – who would mess with their own emotions in that way?” She added, “And for me to do it and have it not work out was the most embarrassing thing.”
Kim said that she is contented and head over heels in love with her current boyfriend, rapper, Kanye West. They have been dating since spring.
Kardashian was quoted saying, “It’s so nice to have a best friend in this game who understands everything you’re going through…”
She added, “It’s good to be aware that he definitely doesn’t want anything from me too, because he understands the business. I can’t even think about being with anyone else than the man I’m with.”
