Lakers Get Bryant Back But Lose To Phoenix Suns

The crowds of the Staples Center in Los Angeles were beginning to look deserted with almost a minute left to play as the Los Angeles Lakers had technically lost to the young Phoenix Suns by 114 to 108.

While the Lakers recovered Kobe Bryant, the superstar seems to be far from his “Black Mamaba” form, as the Los Angeles Lakers get their second loss in a row after his comeback.

Bryant’s figures didn’t impress with his nine points and eight overturns in the loss against the Raptors being barely out-shined by a 20 point 6 of 11 shooting with only three turnovers in the nearly half an hour he played against the Suns.

The teamwork and selflessness that made the Lakers work while Bryant was injured was nowhere to be seen against the Phoenix Suns and coupled with their star player’s adjustment period could spell trouble for the west coast team.

Coach Mike D’Antoni admitted that his team is struggling for the moment. He said that the problems are more than just routine technical ones and that the entire team is struggling with their psyche.

Pau Gasol said that he expected to get two wins in these matches but the Lakers registered two losses, however, they did get Kobe Bryant back, and with his form improving its just a matter of moving forward.
