Legendary Comedian Dave Chappelle Returns To Comedy

This Monday morning news broke that legendary comedian Dave Chappelle will be returning to the world of comedy and will headline “The Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival”. The festival will consist of a 5 weekend tour that will be going to as many cities as possible this summer.

Flight Of The Conchords will co-headline the tour along other features like Al Madrigal, Brody Stevens, Chris D’Elia, Demetri Martin, Hannibal Buress, Jim Jefferies, and many more.

Filling in for the curiosity part of the tour there will be street performers, vendors, psychics and freaks.

This will be the first official tour Chappelle will be on since his very controversial semi-retirement back in 2005, when he walked away from comedy and a very popular TV show to go on a spiritual journey in South Africa.

The comedian did have a number of appearances, especially in New York this year but there has been no news regarding any official tours or new comedy specials until this Monday.

“The Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival” will be present in 13 cities and will run August through September so make sure you get your tickets in time because a tour headlined by Dave Chappelle is going to sell out faster than you might think.
