LG G3 Specifications Leaked
Days before the official launch of the LG G3, the official specifications of the upcoming flagship phone of LG have emerged. The leaked specifications follow earlier leaks that showed details of the still-unreleased device.
A number of images also emerged showing what the upcoming device will reportedly look like, which confirmed earlier unconfirmed reports on its specifications.
Although the smartphone will be slightly bigger compared to its predecessor, the company has reduced the bezels that its footprint in nearly similar to the G2. Its length is at 146.3 millimeters and width of 74.6 millimeters. It is also 8.9 millimeters thick.
The device features a Snapdragon 801 processor from Qualcomm, 3GB RAM, 13MP camera with optical image stabilization at the back, 2.1MP camera in from and storage capacity of 32GB.
The upcoming device will run on the Android 4.4 KitKat OS.
Earlier reports indicated that the upcoming LG G3 will feature the Snapdragon 805 SoC of Qualcomm. However, it appears that the smartphone will feature the 801, which makes it at par with the best smartphones currently available in the market. Although the 801 processor is considered powerful, it only gives the upcoming flagship smartphone a slight edge over its rivals. However, it remains uncertain how powerful the upcoming device will be when it is finally released into the market.
The leaked specifications also showed that owners of the upcoming smartphone will have a new method of taking selfies, which is to make a fist using their hand. The secondary sensor beside the camera is reportedly the laser auto focus system. The system facilitates the auto focus feature of the camera.
The latest leaked information of the upcoming flagship smartphone of LG gives an indication that the upcoming device will be something to look forward to when it reaches the market. The official launch date of the LG G3 is on May 27.
