Lindsay Lohan Banned from Chateau Marmont for Failing to Pay Whopping $46,000 Bill

Lindsay Lohan’s drama is clearly not ending. Yesterday, the trouble-plagued actress received some good news — she’s off the hook for an alleged theft of $100,000 worth of watches, sunglasses, and silverware — but this morning she’s back in the headlines. The latest news involves an unpaid bill issued by her home away from home, the famed Hollywood hotel Chateau Marmont, in the amount of $46,350.04.

The “Liz & Dick” star stayed in the luxury hotel during June and July, raiding the mini-bar and incurring large room service bills, and then failed to pay the hefty tab. The hotel alleges that it repeatedly requested payment from Lohan and didn’t receive it, forcing it to give her the boot from her room and ban her from the property until she paid up.

Pavel, on behalf of the hotel, requested that Lohan remove all of her belongings from Suite 33 by the following day and until they get the matter of her outstanding debt paid, they will not be able to host Lohan the property.

So how did Lohan rack up over $46,000 in 47 days? Her purchases on the itemized bill include a minibar bill totaling $3,145.07, restaurant charges for $1,992.07, and $686 in cigarettes. She also bought magazines (perhaps to read about her headline-making drama?), sent out her laundry, shipped something through FedEx and charged it to the room, and ordered enough room service to feed multiple families (in one day she dropped $685.96).

Lohan was staying at Chateau Marmont while she filmed “Liz & Dick,” which is supposed to be a comeback vehicle for the star. However, her off-screen antics continue to be what is best known about Lohan. In the brief period in which she filmed the movie, she was involved in a car accident, which landed her in the hospital and delayed production. During another incident, paramedics rushed to her aid when producers called 911 after they were unable to wake her.

Last week, Lohan — who is already on probation for the theft of a necklace — was named a suspect in a robbery of over $100,000 worth of jewelry and other items from a friend’s Los Angeles home. However, she got lucky when producer Sam Magid, who initially implicated Lohan in the theft from his residence, later retracted his original story that he suspected Lohan and her pals of stealing from him.
