Lindsay Lohan Sued by A Pedestrian She Allegedly Struck
Lindsay Lohan was sued by a pedestrian on Wednesday who claims that she was struck by the actress’ luxurious sports car. Nubia Del Carmen Preza said that she was hit by Lohan’s Maserati in the intersection of West Hollywood in September 2010.
The lawsuit filed by Preza states that she underwent “disabling personal injuries, suffering, pain and anguish” and that she is seeking damages for all her medical expenses as well as her time away from work.
Preza's lawsuit further states that the actress was driving when she was struck in the afternoon of Sept. 1, 2010 at West Hollywood intersection. It could be noted that at the time, the actress lived near the area.
This is the second case filed against Lohan this month involving vehicle accidents. A reporter also sued Lohan last January 10 claiming that he was hit by the vehicle Lohan was riding. The reporter named Grigor Balyan insisted that he was trying to shoot pictures of the celebrated actress when he was hit.
Steve Honig, Lohan's spokesman, pointed out that neither the actress nor her attorneys received any subpoena for the lawsuit and could not give their comments about it.
Lohan is still under probation for a 2007 driving case filed against her after she was arrested twice that year of driving while under a questionable influence.
